It still feels like yesterday when my parents and I sent Kat off on her first day of Uni. Yesterday she graduated with second class upper in Bachelor of Law, making herself the official 3rd generation of lawyer in the family!
We’re all in London now, obviously to be with Kat on her big day. Flight was long and tiring but definitely not dull cause of Rauf (I will have to blog about his first time on the plane ever).
Seeing how my sister glowed on her graduation day made me feel immensely proud and emotional. My baby sister did so well in school, I teared up when I saw her in her robe – then she told me to get a grip.

Almost my entire family is here, honestly I don’t know how we did it but we are all here. my grandparents (who are in their 80s), my aunts, Joe, Rauf and my cousin Hamiz.
Going through her graduation pics I had flashbacks of my own graduation with the loves of my life. I hope Kat keeps in touch and meets up with the loves of her life once they move on from this moment.

Kitty, you did it dude. Always knew you would but today I am most proud of you not because of your achievements but because of the kind person you have blossomed into. Your heart baby girl, your heart.
Last but not least, to my parents, Congratulations ma and dad.
For all the sleepless nights my father had to endure just to put us through school, for all the never ending duas my mother made day and night for us to be safe, all that we are and ever will be is because of both of you.
Congratulations Graduate!
