So we went for our monthly check up and this particular appointment was an exciting one because we knew we’d get to see baby through the 4D scan for the first time. Long story short, we got to see Baby Bean up close, it was amazing.
I was about to leave the clinic when the nurse handed me the scanned picture of Baby Bean, but before passing it to me she said ‘wah, your baby showing the good finger’.
Without hesitation I replied ‘Huh? The baby showed it’s middle finger?!’
The nurse’s mouth opened, probably in shock that I jumped into conclusion that it was the middle finger. She said to me, trying hard not to laugh, ‘No maam, your baby showing you thumbs up, not middle finger’
I left the clinic feeling a bit embarrassed, oh well what to do, but I couldn’t stop looking at the picture, admiring the fact that my baby was probably giving me the thumbs up for feeding myself so much food these past few months.
My pleasure baby, my pleasure.
